Detailed Instructions - Special Exam (Supplementary) for the cancelled /Reappear Papers (September'2013) :-

Read the following instructions /steps very carefully for the submission of online applications for Special Examination to be held in September' 2013:

 

Step No. 1 : Fill Online Application form for Special Examination and get your Enrollment No.

Step No. 2 : Print Fee Receipt for this Enrollment No.

Step No. 3 :   Locate your nearest Bank branch of Punjab National Bank to deposit the examination fees from the drop down list :.

Go to the Bank and deposit fee as printed in the Fee Receipt and get Transaction ID from Bank.

Step No. 4 : To complete the online submission of application form for Special Examination, It is must to submit Transaction  ID (given by Bank) against  Enrollment  No.  Only  those  students who submit the details of Transaction ID will be allowed to print the admit  card  from  Board's web site for appearing in the  examination. Admit cards will be issued only to those candidates who fulfill eligibility criteria.
   Eligibility Criteria and other conditions for Special Examination:

  1. Students of batch 2010 and all prior batches of admissions can apply for this special Examination.

  2. Examination shall be conducted in the papers of 1st to 8th semester of the following diploma courses :
    • Civil Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Production and Industrial Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering (RAC)
    • Automobile Engineering
    • Computer Engineering
    • Information Technology
    • Electronics and Comm. Engineering
    • Electronics and Tele Comm. Engineering
    • Architecture Assistantship

    • Chemical Engineering

      •

  3. Only students having re-appear in not more than four subjects (theory and practical) over all the semesters (1 to 8 semsters) shall be eligible to appear in this examination. Part Time diploma students are also eligible in this examination.

  4. Examination shall be conducted only four centres namely

    a.     Chandigarh College of Engineering & Technology, Chandigarh

    b.     Mehr Chand Polytechnic College, Jalandhar

    c.  Guru Nanak Dev Polytechnic College, Ludhiana

    d.  Govt. Polytechnic College, Bathinda.

  5. Only Online Application forms will be accepted.

  6. Last date for submission of Online Examination Form is 31st August' 2013

  7. Examination fee of Rs. 1000/- per semester shall be charged which will be paid through designated branches of Punjab National Bank.

  8. The question papers shall be set as per the latest syllabi of the diploma courses.  The detailed syllabus of the different subjects are available on the Board’s website.

  9. Those students who had been booked under UMC cases are not eligible to appear in this exam.

  10. Admit cards will be issued only to those candidates who fulfill eligibility criteria . In case any student who has applied for this special examination is found ineligible at a later stage, he/she will not be issued admit card to appear in this special examination. 

  11. There will be no Reevaluation /Rechecking of subjects of this special examination.

  12. The date sheet of the Special Examination shall be displayed on the Board’s website and the examination centres after 4th September 2013.

  13. Those students who have completed three year Diploma course but still having reappears shall be charged Rs. 500/- as Re registration fee , in case the same has not been paid earlier.
